There's no server that sees your documents. Folion runs entirely in your browser, works offline once loaded, and keeps your last file only on this device so a refresh doesn't lose your work.
Questions
Is Folion really free?
Yes. No trial, no watermark, no account. It's one of the small apps from Bubbles Aro.
Can I change text in a photo or a scanned page?
Yes. Choose Edit text → Make text editable. Folion reads the words on the page, then you tap a line to change it. Clear, well-lit photos work best.
Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens on your device. The only download is the text-reading engine the first time you use it.
How do I save to Google Drive?
On a phone, tap Export → Share / Save to Drive and pick Drive. On a computer, download the file and drop it into Drive.
Can I install it like an app?
Yes. In Chrome or Edge use Install app from the address bar; on iPhone use Share → Add to Home Screen. It then opens full screen and works offline.
Which fonts does it keep?
Folion picks the closest match (sans, serif or mono, bold and italic) and keeps the size and color. Text in standard fonts stays real, searchable text in the PDF.
